Every time I photograph at Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster it is different! This past weekend at the wedding of Robin and Will all I can say that the reoccurring theme was "WOW" light! I am still working on the edits for this wedding but I thought my blog stalking bride-Robin would love to see what I mean! Hope this holds you till I can get the rest done. Soon! Enjoy!

Caroline and Gerry at Nauticus Marina

This past weekend we had the pleasure of photographing two people who are so in love! I had the honor of shooting with photographer extraordinaire and friend Tom Davis of Northern Images. He jumped in last minute to fill in for a missing assistant...thanks Tom!!! We had an amazing day dodging the rain and getting the most incredible light and sunset! The gorgeous flowers consisted of sunny sunflowers made by Meredith Fancy. The guests danced the night away to the sounds of Accent. And of course the food was impeccably presented by Casual Gourmet. The night was capped off with Gerry and Caroline biking off into the sunset on their tandem bike adorned with more sunflowers! How fun!!!

Sarah and Nick in Harwichport!

Sarah and Nick were married this weekend in beautiful Harwichport. We were blessed with a beautiful day! Everything went great as Casual Gourmet did an impeccable job and the party really knew how to dance the night away to the music of Cape Cod DJs. com! The flowers were so pretty with designs from New England Gardens. The lavender accents were especially lovely!

"X" Marks the Spot

Well, with the end of the school year tomorrow, Keegan's class decided to have an end of the year party and "eat" their way thru the alphabet. Can you guess what letter we got? By the way, there is only one food I could find beginning with X-Xavier-which appears to be a cream soup or consommé thickened with arrowroot or rice flour and garnished with diced chicken. Not real fun for a school party.....so these will have to do! Enjoy-we did!!

Mary and Rob were married this past weekend at Ocean Edge. It was a small wedding but everyone had a blast celebrating! Jacki from Wedding Tresses made everyone look their best and of couse the service at Ocean Edge was flawless! Enjoy the show!

Today we had fun in the studio photographing my friend Marcia's yummy cupcakes for her new business Cape Cod Cupcake Company! Yummmm! They truly taste as good as they look. Marcia will supply her yummy cupcakes for your party, wedding or any event! If you need a fix now, get a single at The Dunbar Tea Room or Paul's Bean and Bagel downtown! Oh, and did I say they are yummy??

Karl and Karin are having a baby!

My baby brother and his wife are finally having a baby this July! The family is so excited! Keegan and I drove down to CT this weekend to drop off his crib to the new parents to be! While we were there, we got some great shots of the happy couple! Congrats!!

Even though Spring is the season, it hardly feels like here on the Cape...although some say that we usually don't really get a Spring here.....I got these beautiful tulips from my lovecat friend Christine from Bello Photography....how I love tulips! I had to photograph them and then had some fun with textures in Photoshop......A fun diversion for this beginnings of Spring! Enjoy!

Miss Maeve has personality!

Today was a fun session with 18 month Maeve! Met her mom a few months ago and decided that we needed to get Maeve in the studio. Maeve's mom is a designer and is also helping me design custom holiday cards to offer later this year! Stay tuned!!! Need a snazzy buckle?

Have been busy these past couple of day battling a lovely case of Strep and photographing these gorgeous belt buckles for a new website for Cape Cod designer Jennifer Caprio. Check out www.ellabellas.com and www.bellabuckles.com after she updates them with the new photos. One of these buckles was recently worn by Kristi Lee Cook on this season American Idol! Pretty Cool!

The 2 Day for Breast Cancer

Last week I photographed my accountant Brenda and her daughter Kelly for some self promotion pieces that they are going to produce to raise money for their two day walk for breast cancer! Favorites from Texas

Keegan and I took the big trip to West Texas back in February and I am finally getting around to posting some of my favorite images! These are from the San Angelo Area and San Antonio. We particularly loved the new latino museum in San Antonio-an extension of the Smithsonian-called the Museo Alameda . If you are ever there, check it out! The facade is an exhibit in itself! Enjoy

The tribe has spoken!

Every year our Cape Cod professional photographer group has a contest to see which members will have their images represent the group on the web. Our group has grown very large in the past couple of years and we are now only allowed to enter 2 images each. A portrait and a wedding image. The contest is then voted on by the studios in the organization. This year there was a total of 66 entries and I am proud to say that I received second place in the portrait category and and honorable mention in the wedding category. Pretty cool!
